Treatment update
Diana is feeling pretty good so far; some days she’s full of energy and playing all day long, other days she’s tired, in pain and sleepy. Luckily, she is home schooling until the next scholar year.

The treatment
After considering the possible devastating effects of a proposed radiation treatment at the Yale Hospital to Diana’s brain and spine, and the fact that her body and mind are still developing and this will only add to the number of possible side effects, we decided to seek alternative treatments.

The second surgery
On December 18th, 2009 an MRI showed that Diana developed two tumors on the spinal cord. After the holidays she underwent a Laminectomy. Currently she is in the healing process.
Now we are trying to find different alternative treatments, because radiation therapy for a recurrent tumor is not a solution anymore.
